Drum stallions must have passed a vet check and have an official height measurement before registration of progeny.

All Drums must be officially measured at 16hh or over, by 5 years old to keep full registration.

Gypsy, Clydesdale and Shire parents must have an approved official measurement in order for their progeny to be eligible for full Drum Horse registration;

- Gypsy Cob to be 14.2hh or over
- Clydesdale and Shires to be 16hh or over
