Gypsy Horse Show Results

Part Bred Gypsy Cobs, no matter what breed they are crossed out to are amazing horses. They are adding much needed bone, soundness, movement, temperament and flair to breeds that are commonly being used in every day competitions. They have indisputably proven themselves as extremely versatile horses, excelling in a wide variety of shows and disciplines worldwide. This page shows just how versatile the Part Bred Gypsy is, already proving themselves to be worthy contenders within many Equine activities so far in Australasia.

Queensland Pinto State Championships, 18th & 19th September 2010

What a huge weekend with over 50 pintos competing and the Gypsy Cob and Derivatives certainly stamped their mark! There has been alot of comments since about the Gypsy Cobs at the show and the good impression they made. Quinn was there representing the purebreds and then there was Angus, Fortune, Jigsaw and Commander representing the partbreds. Get noticed they certainly did and prove they're not just there to look pretty, they are versatile and competitive as well!

Jigsaw and Commander won 2nd in Get of Sire (Wimballan Harkers Geordie)

It was Jigsaw's (8months old) 3rd ever show and although Commander (7 months old) went to the Ekka in a stable he never competed so it was Commanders first show competing, and they both did so well and handled it brilliant. Their best moment was in the Led trail class when they were competing against horses 12-18 months older than them. They had to negotiate poles, back up round L bends, go over a bridge, through a gate and round cones in an indoor arena and although they had never seen anything like it before, they both did it like they been competing for years with Jigsaw winning it and Commander getting 2nd.
